Special Session 4

The forefront of nanostructured materials continues to evolve with the exploration of new concepts and methodologies, the development of new synthesis, structural analysis, and property testing techniques, and the utilization of theoretical modeling and simulation tools.

This Session will focus on experimental, theoretical, and computational studies of nanomaterials in the form of bulk, thin films, coatings, and tubes/fibers. These studies will include, but are not limited to, the following subject areas:

  • Synthesis of Nanomaterials,
  • Nanocomposites,
  • Nano Mechanics,
  • Novel Characterization methods,
  • Mechanical/optical/electrical properties of nanomaterials and Modeling
    and simulation of nano- systems.

Contributions on all aspects of nanosystems, nanomaterials nanomechanics will be welcome.
